When sending me an email to book an appointment, please follow my booking guidelines! I’ll need a clear idea of what you’re looking to get tattooed as well as the location on your body, and an approximate size (in inches preferably) If you’re unsure of what you’re looking for immediately, I’m here to help you through the process.
Artistic freedom is fantastic, however I do still need your guidance with some form of subject matter!.
Normally, I’m able to gather all relevant information from our email communication. Please refrain from sending me DMs on my instagram or my Facebook, and especially texts or calls to my personal cell phone! It’s so much easier for me to keep track of everything on my emails so that everything is in one place.
If you do message me somewhere other than my emailI will either forward you my email address or ignore you!
While experiencing a lot of requests for custom work, it‘s best for me to only book 3-4 months in advance! This enables me to plan to have vacations and allow myself to have a chance to breathe. Whenever I am opening or closing my books, I will post on my instagram and on my facebook @alyhydetattoos
While my books are closed, I will not be responding to new inquiries, this way I am better able to devote my time to drawing and tattooing those that are currently scheduled.
When my books are open I will post consistently about it! I will also respond to all inquiries received in that time, my books will stay open until all of my dates are filled for those months!
Please keep in mind that I am a single person and it will take me time to respond back to your email! I can only work for so many hours in one day. I hate saying no to people, but I am trying to do more for myself in managing what I can handle at one time. If I cannot fit you into my books when you email me once, please don’t hesitate to email me again when my books are open.
I don’t send designs or sketches in advance for tattoos. I’ve had people steal my drawings and take them elsewhere, so I keep it for the day of our appointment to protect myself and my artwork.
With that being said! I will never ask you or try to tell you to get a tattoo of something you’re not 100% in love with. I will make as many changes to artwork and design as needed for you to be in love!
It’s impossible to provide an exact cost for a tattoo, the final cost of your tattoo depends on many things, the detail of the design, the size, and placement.
Changing your design, size, or placement for a tattoo can also impact the cost of the tattoo! In addition, changing the entire design will also impact the cost of the tattoo as well! I know that tattoos are expensive and that they are something that many people need to take time to save for a piece. I will always be willing to work within a budget for what you’re looking to get done or extending the timeline of a piece adding additional appointments or spreading them out farther apart. Please let me know in advance if you need to work within a set budget for a tattoo so I can design appropriately!
I work at an hourly rate of $150, I only charge for the time spent tattooing, any breaks are not included in the price of your tattoo!
Every appointment scheduled requires a non refundable deposit of $100 used toward the cost of your tattoo.
All deposits are non-refundable. It is an agreement that we are committing to a project and I’ll start my drawing process. Your deposit will be credited to the tattoo, and as long as I am given 48 hours notice it is transferrable.
Deposits will be voided with a cancellation less than 48 hour notice, or a no call-no show. If you would like to make a new appointment after voiding a deposit I would require a new deposit.
Due to COVID I understand that there may be a time where you’re unable to give me a full 48 hour notice for cancelling. If this happens I will still honor your deposit when setting up a new appointment.
Please do not come to your appointment feeling sick, when you start to feel unwell please reschedule! You can send me an email or call the studio to let me know that you won’t be able to make it and need to reschedule.
If you are going to be more than 30 minutes late please give the studio a call, or send me a message! If you are more than 30 minutes late and we have not spoken about it, you will be considered a no call-no show and your deposit will be voided, and you will need a new one in order to make a new appointment
